Our next general alumni
meeting is scheduled for 09/11/07, however the "core group" plan to have a board meeting prior to the 09/11/07
to gear up and discuss game plan, recruiting, budget, mission statement, fundraising, dues, etc.

Bobby Height to propose that both of our local Alumni Chapters (St. Aug. & Shaw) team up for meetings, fundraising, activities
etc...this way we could increase membership & dues. Plus Tom will also contact Cheryl to get the list of new
graduates from the class of 2007 that live in our Charlotte area so that we can get them involved early.
I am still researching
the possibility of our Chapter working a concession booth at the Bobcat or Panther stadium so that could be our
main fundraiser (we get 10% of the gross at our concession stand for each home game), I prefer this fundraiser
in lieu of a car wash, candy sales, Fish fry etc.. At the last meeting, Marva was asked to check into the
fundraiser at the Lowe's motor speedway.
Fern & Deborah (Treasurer
& co-treasurer) plan to meet with Ty Judge sometime this week to get new signature cards. Authorized persons
on the signature card will be Wil, Fern & Deborah.
It was agreed to contact
the Charlotte Post to place a running AD announcing our Alumni meeting the 2nd Tuesday in every month at Sugar Creek Recreation
Center. School year runs from September 1st thru August 31st
