1. All Alumni Queen tickets and monies were turned in by the following:
-LaTanya, 140 tickets=$$$
-Joie, 8 tickets=$$$
-John, 25 tickets=$$$
-TerryAnn, 1 ticket=$$$
All the unsold tickets were collected and will be given to Wil
Jones
Total money collected $$$, Total number of tickets sold 174
LaTanya Lipscomb will be representing the chapter at Homecoming
2.We still need volunteers for the Chapter Fundraisers, the next
event will be for NASCAR on October 12-13 and the following will be in attendance: LaTanya, Wil, Fern, TerryAnn. The next
Carolina Panther Fundraiser will be October 28 and the following will be in attendance:LaTanya, Wil, Fern, TerryAnn. Please
contact TerryAnn for any information concerning fundraising
events.
3. The current Treasurer's Report was given by Deborah Felder.
-Total collected from this fiscal year dues was $$$
-Total cash on hand $$$
A copy of the Treasurer's Report was given to all that were present
4. Fern Mingo will be sending a card to Mr. Bobby Height
from the Sunshine Fund, He is currently having heart related issues. Mr. Height has been our contact person and has been very
instrumental in securing funds for the chapter from B &R Body Shop during the CIAA.
5.Charlotte Alumni Scholarship Fund-George Nobel is still waiting
on more information to present to the committee and will have a draft by the next meeting.
6. Black College Awareness Day- This event was summarized by TerryAnn
and Joie, this was a great event for all the schools represented. More information and pictures are posted on the chapter
website.
7. We brainstormed ideas for early CIAA fundraisers and there will be further discussion in the next meeting.
8. Fern suggested that we all reach out to fellow Falcons that we know, former classmates etc... and express that
even if they don't attend the meetings, urge them to still pay their dues.

Felder showed us the latest copy of the Creative Loafing, there is an AD for our Alumni meetings.
The date of the next meeting was not announced.
